Cromwell does 'Do It In A Dress' - will you?

Throughout the month of October, Cromwell students will be wearing school dresses each day to promote awareness and raise money for girls' education in Sierra Leone with the Do It In A Dress campaign. 60 million girls worldwide are denied education, simply for being a girl. As we are in such a privileged position of being at one of the best universities in the world, it is important that we do not take this for granted and help those who are not given the same opportunities as us. Throughout the month there will be events to run alongside us wearing the dresses everyday, events such as a trip to bounce, a picnic, an amazing race and nights out to promote the cause and raise awareness about what goes on on the other side of the world.

With a 7 week goal set of $1200 (enough to educate a girl for 3 years) we started to promote our page and within 12 hours we had raised $1000 and moved our target to $3000. We have now raised over $2000 in 24 hours and it hasn't slowed down yet! We are so proud and thankful to everyone who has signed up and donated in such a short space of time - there are no words for the difference you have made and the lives that will change thanks to your help. Below is the link to our team page where you can donate. Similarly, you can search anyone you know doing it and donate to them too!
