Academic Breakfast - Law

Last Saturday morning a number of students studying law attended the second COCA Academic Breakfast this semester. Alan Wrigley (2010 – 2012), Emily Travers-Jones ( 2013-2015) and Jess Fuller (2012-2014) were special guests on the morning and spoke of the reasons why they studied Law at university and where it had taken them professionally once they had graduated. Each of their accounts were quite different and indicated the breadth of opportunities that a Law degree can provide . It contrasted the traditional pathway viewed by many. The importance of networking, having life experience and being able to easily converse with people were seen as important skills to develop in addition to doing well academically.
