Dr Marjan Jones talks dentistry and student life

On Tuesday 28th March, Dr Marjan Jones was our guest speaker at the second formal dinner for the year.

After working in private practices in Brisbane and Sydney, as well as lecturing at the University of Qld, Dr Jones opened Enhance Dentistry in 2010, bringing to life her vision for the perfect dental practice: one where there is excellence in clinical quality and client care.

After graduating from the University of Queensland with first class honours, Dr Jones has kept abreast of new dental treatment and research through continuing education, media and courses.  She works closely with a broad range of practitioners who share her philosophy and approach to health and well-being such as doctors, naturopaths, chiropractors, speech therapists, podiatrists and counsellors.

Along with her work in cosmetic and general dentistry, Dr Jones outlined her experiences as a laser dentist, with a particular interest in the treatment of tongue and lip ties in patients of all ages. Dr Jones also spoke to the students about her own experiences at University and College and how a series life experiences led her to find her real passion in the field that she has always wanted to work in.
