WELCOME TO CROMWELL
Cromwell College is a coeducational residential college within the University of Queensland, affiliated with the Uniting Church of Australia. It is home away from home for two hundred and fifty tertiary students aged between seventeen and twenty, and to conference groups and visitors in vacation periods. Cromwell provides best practice academic and pastoral support for emerging adults in their transition from school and home, to university and beyond.

The College operates academic, spiritual, pastoral, sporting, cultural and social support programs. Evidence of the worth of these programs are in part, the students who choose to stay three or more years at Cromwell, gaining and then in turn offering, valuable guidance and support to younger students.

Students rate the strong sense of community as a highlight of their Cromwell experience. Ask a Cromwell student the best thing about their College and they are most likely to say things like “close knit; everyone knows and looks out for each other.” There is very strong Cromwell College spirit and an active alumni association and Foundation.

The Cromwell College Academic Dinner was held on Tuesday 23 August 2011.  Guest speaker was Mrs Alison Ariotti, who is well  known as the Queensland Reporter for Channel 9's Today Show, and is a former Cromwell student (1998-2000).  Cromwell has a strong academic focus with the cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) across our 247 students at the end of first semester, sitting at 5.02.
