Cromwell College is situated within The University of Queensland's St. Lucia Campus. Surrounded by its own beautiful gardens and lawns, Cromwell College is only a few minutes walk from the University's Great Court and lecture rooms, laboratories and libraries.

Within a few minutes walk, you are into the beautiful parklands and many playing fields of The University of Queensland campus and the Brisbane River which loops around the campus.

Brisbane City Council buses operate from the bus stop in Chancellor's Place near the J. D. Story Building, St Lucia and via the  Eleanor Schonell Bridge.

The City Cat ferry, a 10 minute walk from College, connects you with the City, Queensland University of Technology and South Bank with a picturesque trip down the .Brisbane River.

A shopping centre is a 10 minute walk from the College and includes a supermarket, coffee shops, takeaways and restaurants. Shops on campus include hairdresser, bookshop, pharmacy, newsagent, travel agent and Post Office.
