We are aware that many of your grade 11 and 12 students are looking to do further study at The University of Queensland . We understand that leaving home for the first time is both exciting and daunting (for parents as well as students). That is why the Principal works hard to make Cromwell College a home away from home where young people can find the friendship and support they need and where they can be inspired to seek their full potential as human beings.

We are also able to offer a scholarship to a financially disadvantaged student and we are asking for your assistance to guide prospective applicants to apply. Prospective applicants must have a high standard of academic results and be willing to demonstrate financial hardship.

We also would like to offer our assistance in case you are considering a Careers Trip to Brisbane . During the University terms, we offer to have students over for lunch ($7.70per student) and a tour of the College. We would need at least one week's notice to arrange the catering. It is a great way for students to get a feel for College life and community, to see the facilities and taste our food.

During University vacation, we offer affordable, single student room accommodation with shared bathroom facilities. The price for 2009 is $55.00 per room (for a minimum stay of three nights) and this includes three meals per day. The students are able to pack their own lunches if they are not able to return to College for a lunchtime meal. The University Vacation periods 2008/2009 are as follows:
