Conferences

We would be delighted to welcome your group to Cromwell College and can offer an excellent all inclusive budget accommodation and conference option for your organisation. Conveniently located within The University of Queensland, St Lucia Campus, Cromwell is close to the Brisbane CBD and public transport including bus and ferry which is only a brief walk away.

Accommodation for groups of 25 or more is available during semester break and standard rooms are only $80 per person per night, and each room is fully furnished with single bed, bar fridge, desk and shelving, with shared bathroom facilities and shared common areas available.  We also have a limited number of air conditioned deluxe rooms available from $125 per person per night and each room furnished with double or single bed, bar fridge, desk, shelving and ensuited bathroom with shared common areas available.

Rates for rooms include three meals daily (hot cooked breakfast, hot and cold lunch and dinner) served in the College Dining Room and packed lunches are available with prior arrangement.  The rooms are fully serviced and Cromwell College provides all bed linen and a bath towel. 

Wireless internet access is available throughout the College.

Depending on the size of your conference group and length of stay, Cromwell College would be happy to include with your accommodation, free access to the Chapel, Junior Common Room, Lion's Den and Gifford Room during your stay – a saving of more than $900 per day!  All conference areas are air conditioned and cater for up to 100 delegates.  We can provide whiteboards and Audio Visual equipment to your requirements.  The rooms are equipped with tables, chairs and kitchenette facilities. 

The following conference rooms are available for hire without accommodation:

Chapel seats up to 100 $300 per day (exclusive of GST)
Junior Common Room seats up to 50 $250 per day (exclusive of GST)
Lion's Den seats up to 40 $200 per day (exclusive of GST) 
Gifford Room seats up to 25 $150 per day (exclusive of GST)

Complimentary tea and coffee is provided on arrival.  We can provide morning and afternoon tea from $4.00 per person.  Lunch can also be provided at $10.00 per person served in the College Dining Room, or from $8.00 served in the conference room and on site BBQ’s can also be arranged for an additional charge.

The College has staff living on site so you always have contact should this be needed at any time.

Please be aware that College accommodation does book out very quickly, so if you are interested in staying at Cromwell College, I would encourage you to secure your booking as soon as possible.  A deposit to secure the booking would be required and full payment is required in advance.
