Welcoming Back David Wadsworth

At our first formal dinner for second semester, on Tuesday 7th August, we were delighted to have Mr David Wadsworth speaking about his time at the college when he resided at Cromwell for the first three years of his undergraduate degree from 1992-1994.

David graduated from The University of Queensland in 1995 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and First Class Honours and was the recipient of the University Medal in 1995.

David undertook a double Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy, graduating from Griffith University with the Award for Academic Excellence in 2008.

Since graduation David has worked clinically as a Physiotherapist in the United Kingdom, undertook further professional study in the United States and Europe, and currently runs his own private practice in Milton Brisbane.  He is currently appointed to the Queensland Academy of Sport as the Physiotherapist for the Road and Track Cycling Team.  He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Qld, Griffith University and conducted clinical workshops in Europe, the UK and the Middle East.

He now resides in Chapel Hill, enjoying the juggle of work, family life and riding his bike whenever he can.
